Privacy Policy

1. General Terms

  • Caliber Metal is strictly a material supplier and assumes no responsibility for interpreting project specifications or engineering requirements.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring ordered products meet applicable local codes, specifications, and structural requirements.

  • All products are custom-made to order and considered final once production has begun.

  • Quotes are estimates only and not binding contracts. Final pricing may change due to raw material costs, customizations, or order modifications.

  • Unless stated otherwise, quotes expire after 30 days.

  • Products become the property of the buyer upon pick-up or delivery from Caliber Metal’s facility.

  • All communication may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

2. Product Orders & Custom Fabrication

  • All metal panels, trim, and accessories are fabricated to customer-provided measurements and specifications.

  • Caliber Metal is not responsible for measurement errors, misordered components, or unsuitable product selection.

  • Any changes made to an order after production begins will result in additional charges.

  • Customers must confirm all color choices and profiles prior to fabrication. Color variations due to screen differences are not grounds for return.

3. Delivery & Site Access

  • Caliber Metal offers optional delivery services. All deliveries are curbside or to the closest safe, accessible area for truck offloading.

  • Customers must ensure unobstructed and safe access to the delivery site.

  • If site conditions prevent safe delivery, materials will be returned, and redelivery charges will apply.

  • Caliber is not liable for damage to driveways, landscapes, or structures during delivery beyond the curb line.

4. Lead Times & Scheduling

  • Most standard orders are available for pickup or delivery within 24–48 hours, depending on volume and material availability.

  • Lead times for standing seam panels or large volume orders may vary and will be communicated at the time of quote.

  • Customers are encouraged to provide advance notice for high-volume or time-sensitive projects.

  • Delays due to weather, equipment failure, or material shortage are not the responsibility of Caliber Metal.

5. Warranties & Material Responsibility

  • Caliber Metal supplies products backed by manufacturer warranties (e.g., 40-Year Valspar paint warranty).

  • All warranty claims are subject to manufacturer review and terms.

  • Caliber Metal does not guarantee performance due to improper installation, handling, or storage.

  • All materials should be installed per industry standards and local codes.

6. Payment Terms

  • All orders must be paid in full before production or release unless approved for credit.

  • Credit card payments are subject to a 3.00% processing fee.

  • Customers with approved terms must pay by the 10th of the following month to avoid late fees.

  • Returned checks or failed payments are subject to a $50 fee plus applicable bank charges.

  • No refunds for unused or leftover materials once custom cut/fabricated.

7. Cancellations & Returns

  • Orders cannot be canceled once fabrication begins.

  • Returns are not accepted on custom-made products, including panels, trim, and specialty orders.

  • Stock accessories (non-custom) may be returned within 7 days if unused and in resalable condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee.

  • All returns require prior authorization.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Caliber Metal is not responsible for damages resulting from delays, incorrect use, or faulty installation.

  • Under no circumstances shall Caliber Metal be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

  • The maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product in question.

9. Environmental & Safety Notice

  • Metal roofing and trim products may have sharp edges and should be handled with appropriate PPE.

  • Prolonged exposure to sunlight and elements may affect surface temperature and product performance.

  • Store all metal materials in a dry, covered location until installation.

  • Caliber Metal is not liable for injuries caused by mishandling or improper installation.

10. Legal & Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

  • Buyer agrees to pay all collection costs, attorney fees, and interest if legal action is required to recover unpaid balances.

  • Any claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receiving the materials.
