6. General Terms

Caliber Metal is strictly a material supplier and assumes no responsibility for interpreting project specifications or engineering requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring ordered products meet applicable local codes, specifications, and structural requirements.

All products are custom-made to order and considered final once production has begun.

Quotes are estimates only and not binding contracts. Final pricing may change due to raw material costs, customizations, or order modifications.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes expire after 30 days.

Products become the property of the buyer upon pick-up or delivery from Caliber Metal’s facility.

All communication may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

7. Product Orders & Custom Fabrication

All metal panels, trim, and accessories are fabricated to customer-provided measurements and specifications.

Caliber Metal is not responsible for measurement errors, misordered components, or unsuitable product selection.

Any changes made to an order after production begins will result in additional charges.

Customers must confirm all color choices and profiles prior to fabrication. Color variations due to screen differences are not grounds for return.

8. Delivery & Site Access

Caliber Metal offers optional delivery services. All deliveries are curbside or to the closest safe, accessible area for truck offloading.

Customers must ensure unobstructed and safe access to the delivery site.

If site conditions prevent safe delivery, materials will be returned, and redelivery charges will apply.

Caliber Metal is not liable for damage to driveways, landscapes, or structures beyond the curb line.

9. Lead Times & Scheduling

Most standard orders are available for pickup or delivery within 24–48 hours, depending on volume and material availability.

Lead times for standing seam panels or large-volume orders may vary and will be communicated at the time of quote.

Delays due to weather, equipment failure, or material shortages are not the responsibility of Caliber Metal.

10. Warranties & Material Responsibility

Caliber Metal supplies products backed by manufacturer warranties (e.g., 40-Year Valspar paint warranty).

All warranty claims are subject to manufacturer review and terms.

Caliber Metal does not guarantee performance due to improper installation, handling, or storage.

All materials must be installed per industry standards and local codes.

11. Payment Terms

All orders must be paid in full before production or release unless approved for credit.

Credit card payments are subject to a 3.00% processing fee.

Approved account balances must be paid by the 10th of the following month to avoid late fees.

Returned checks or failed payments are subject to a $50 fee plus applicable bank charges.

No refunds for unused or leftover materials once custom cut or fabricated.

12. Cancellations & Returns

Orders cannot be canceled once fabrication begins.

Returns are not accepted on custom-made products.

Stock (non-custom) accessories may be returned within 7 days if unused and in resalable condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All returns require prior authorization.

13. Limitation of Liability

Caliber Metal is not responsible for damages resulting from delays, incorrect use, or faulty installation.

Under no circumstances shall Caliber Metal be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

14. Environmental & Safety Notice

Metal products may have sharp edges and should be handled with proper PPE.

Store all materials in a dry, covered location until installation.

Caliber Metal is not liable for injuries caused by mishandling or improper installation.

15. Legal & Dispute Resolution

All disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Buyer agrees to pay all collection costs, attorney fees, and interest related to unpaid balances.

Any claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receiving materials.
